Hi, I haven't posted in awhile. I've been lazy in my writing and I'm hoping to be more productive at it! I don't have many followers like I do on my Pioneer Writer blog, but I hope that'll change soon! Going to start advertising my blog and sharing my creations and sites I sell on.

A Long Time

I know it's been a long time since I've written a post. I've been really busy and sick a lot. I've had a great beginning of 2012 and cannot believe it's fixing to be May. I'm really excited about summer, hopefully will find time to write in my book and make new summer inspired creations.

I'm so thankful how my sales have been! I reach the 1,000 earned on Yardsellr! It's super cool and I can't believe I've reached that number! On Etsy I've reached the 500 sales mark! I'm kinda surprised I'm able to sell good on both sites! :) And another high note is I've reached 400 likes on my Facebook fan page! I never thought I'd even reach that either!

Amazing! :) I haven't been doing any photography lately, just taking pictures of my jewelry and cars. I guess I kinda hope that I could still keep up with everything, but with making jewelry listing items and babysitting; my days are really kinda slammed. I haven't even had a chance to sit down and read(or work on my book for that matter). I've read maybe a chapter here, a chapter there.... *sighs*

Course my dad tells me, just slack up some...you don't have to list everything (make everything or take pictures of everything)....just do a little at a time that way you can read or write. Guess I need to take his advice. lol.

Christmas Sales

The month of December has been here for a week and I've already sold over 20 Christmas jewelry! I've made some new creations this season of jingle bells, Santa hats, Angels and snowflakes. They are so pretty, if I say so myself! I'm so glad how December has started and hope it continues better by the day! God is so good!


The one bad thing about this month is IT'S SO COLD! Even my room is freezing with the heat on. My window has to be facing the North wind and my bed has to be next to it?! Seriously.... Oh, well! I'm thankful to have a roof over my head and actually some heat. Again, God is so good! 


I put our Christmas tree up Sunday nite. Eh....I do not like the 3" purple tree. But glad to have a tree! It's missing ornaments though! We can't find the hooks! lol. It's pathetic. Ha. 


I'm kinda wishing I had a Christmas tree. My hope chest has room next to my printer for one I think. Hm.....maybe next year! :) 


Well, I'm off! I haven't felt like blogging in awhile. I guess I just don't like wasting time on here, but it's good to write. I enjoy working on my novel and I wish I had time to finish it. The middle is sooo hard right now. I have to think of something to happen. Not sure what....but I'll get it soon!

God Brings the Rain

We have had a dry spell for quiet a while. I don't really remember the last time it rained this summer, but I know it's been a month. Or almost anyway. We missed all the rain Saturday from Tropical Storm Lee, and Sunday morning we got some light showers. But early this morning, around 2 AM, we finally got rain. A good downpour! Today it's been steadily raining with no thunder or lightning. For that I am grateful! I never liked thundering or lightning! Just rain is fine by me! The electricity stays on!! I pray this rain will help us! Our house has two cracks from this dry spell..seems like this is the driest, hottest summer ever.

Anyways, last week was a very good week! Thursday me, MawMaw and Granddaddy went to Aberdeen(MS) and took pictures of an old church...I will post it later! After that we went to Monograms Magic to see my Aunt Amy! That was so much fun! Looking around at all the neat stuff they had and gasping at some of the prices! lol. I tried on a pair of flip flops and love them! A late graduation present from my Aunt Amy! :) They are black with brown glittery strap. Ever since I've had them, my feet have not hurt anymore!!

Friday me and Daddy went to Tupelo! I found MORE stationary! I had a fit over some Vera Bradley stationary at Monograms Magic, but they were too expensive. *sighs* Oh well, these will do for now! :) After that we went to Hobby Lobby! MORE CRAFT STUFF! I heart Hobby Lobby and all their crafties! I found some stickers, yarn and cameo on clearance! I heart good sales too! :D

Yesterday Granny and PawPaw came over! We had KFC for lunch and had a great visit! I got Granny some large print books that I knew she'd enjoy! Then I gave her some earrings I had made for her! She loved them too! :) I wish they could come up more often and vice versa.

And today is Labor Day! No babies and silence! :) I'll enjoy it! :) The living room is MINE! Bring on the craftiness! And of course, today will be great! God brought the rain! :)

I heart Friends, Postcards and Traveling!

So, no followers yet. Perhaps because no one is interested in what I have to say. I don't know, maybe I just haven't given this enough time. What's going on in my life?

Well, besides the fact that I thought someone was being a good friend to me, turned out to keep ignoring me and doesn't get back to me on when we were gonna hang out again and is hanging out with other people before they leave for college; I am doing rather well. I learned a long time ago that the people who weren't meant to be your friends, don't try to get them to be your friends. It rarely works out! But I am optimistic! I have a lot of friends who are very supportive and who love me! :)

My right eye has been hurting some when I look around....I'm thinking it's from being on the computer 12/7. And plus I had a rough weekend with it running. I pray I am not about to have trouble with it anytime soon! It's my only good eye that I can see out of.

I bought 9 postcards today. Only 8 rang up. Hey, saved .25 cents! I wish our Wal-Mart would bring in some new postcards! It's always the same old, same old! I need to go to Jackson....

This Friday me and Daddy are going to Tupelo! I can't wait! I am in dire need of some stickers and note cards! I've been sending them to people like crazy and I'm running out! I've joined this site called swap-bot and it's where you swap stuff with other people! I swap some of my note cards and get some by someone else in return! My favorite is the postcard swaps! I heart postcards!

I must admit that I have about 500 jewelry pieces made, and many more to create! How did I end up with so much? I'm just so blessed that I am selling a lot of pieces! On Etsy, Facebook and Yardsellr! It's doing rather well and for that I am grateful!

Well, I need to go sort some Trading cards to sell on eBay.

Start of a New Blog

I'm thinking the reason for creating this blog is to start fresh. My other blogs are all great, but this one I want to define me and share my thoughts. I will continue blogging on Pioneer Writer, as that blog will continue being the place I do my reviews and such.

Where shall I start here? A little introductory perhaps? Alright then, my name is Natalie and I live in Mississippi. Our town is pretty small, but not so much. We have over 20,000 people here, but the biggest mall is Wal-Mart. I can't imagine living anywhere else in this world! As much as I want to leave MS and see other places, I can't picture myself LIVING anywhere else. What can I say, I am a Mississippi girl!

I live with my parents and my cats. I don't have any siblings, but the cats make up for them! I am a very quiet person and can be really shy, but I try to speak up. Honestly! I just find it hard sometimes. Especially in a group of people. I feel myself in the way and I just want to go hide. I guess I need to change that, but believe me when I say that I have tried!

All my friends have left me here in MS. They're all at college right now and yes, it's hard. Being an only child is hard enough as it is. Sure, there are still tons of people in my town, but I don't go out very much. I'm pretty much a homebody! And how can you make friends when you stay home?! Also I don't really get invited to many places. I mean, I'd like to go somewhere with someone different at least once a month. I guess I get lonely a lot. Especially when people tell me "We'll hang out soon" but that doesn't happen most of the time. My last opportunity to hang out was over a month ago and she's leaving in a week for college. We were supposed to hang out one more time, but we just got too busy in our own lives.

So, my life sounds pretty boring, right? Trust me, if I told you what I do everyday, your head would spin! I may not get out much or have a job, but I do TONS of things everyday. Hm, that could be a subject for my next post.
